Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Programs

Environmental Stewardship Begins At Home
Individuals and families can have fun, enjoy wildlife, and protect the environment right at home.  Audubon International provides information, guidance, and support to help people become stewards of land, water, and wildlife. Backyard cooperators hail from urban, suburban, and rural properties all across North America.

There is a diversity of projects people can undertake to create and manage habitat for wildlife and to conserve natural resources.  Audubon International provides the necessary information to help people assess their current environmental efforts, plan projects, and take stewardship action.

Treasuring Home
Audubon International offers a number of ways to show your support for protecting the environmental where you live.  At a minimum, everyone can take part in Treasuring Home.  With a minimum $35 donation to Audubon International’s Earth Fund, you’ll receive our Backyard Stewardship Packet which includes Treasuring Home: A Guide to Environmental Stewardship at Your Home.  In this guide you’ll find ideas and tips for taking positive environmental action in and around your home.  You’ll also have the opportunity to join our growing list of people who have taken the Treasuring Home Pledge—promising to take steps to protect wildlife, save water, use less energy, and manage resources more sustainably where you live.  Click here to take the Treasuring Home Pledge, receive the Treasuring Home Guide, and make your $35 donation to Audubon International today!
